Procise Proud: Meet our team
From nearly thirty years in the legal field to becoming a trusted technology consultant, Shelly Johnson’s career has been anything but ordinary....
Great technology isn't just about software, it's about helping people embrace new ways of working.
With a background in organizational development and decades of experience guiding Microsoft 365 initiatives, senior consultant, Janel Holden specializes in translating business needs into technology solutions that create lasting impact.
I always joked that I was the "non-tech person" in the room because I was surrounded by people who loved technology. After almost 30 years in the industry, I've embraced the fact that I'm a tech person too!
I have a master's degree in Training and Organizational Development and an undergraduate degree in Business and Training, so my career has always centered around people and processes, two things I'm truly passionate about.
Early in my career, I worked in training across banking, financial services, healthcare, and software, which naturally led me to Microsoft's technology ecosystem.
As for Procise, I actually worked with many of the team members at a previous company. Jim Burns and I would often grab lunch together, and I had a front-row seat as Procise was taking shape. There were plenty of great ideas shared over lunch and more than a few cookies.
While I work within the Microsoft 365 suite every day, I often say my most valuable tool is my background in organizational development and change management.
Technology is only successful when people embrace it. I enjoy helping organizations maximize their Microsoft 365 investment by showing users new ways to work more efficiently and confidently.
I enjoy large-scale Microsoft 365 projects, especially those involving Teams and SharePoint.
The most rewarding projects aren't just about implementing software, they're about helping organizations rethink how work gets done. Lasting success comes when leadership is committed to driving meaningful change across the organization.
I love helping organizations see work differently and watching users become more confident with new technology.
Every organization has unique challenges, but after many years in this field, I've learned that many business needs are surprisingly similar. I enjoy discovering how different organizations operate and finding practical ways technology can support their goals.
I've always described myself as a translator, someone who bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
I love traveling and exploring new places. I'm naturally curious, so I'll never pass up an opportunity for a behind-the-scenes tour.
When I'm home, my perfect day includes relaxing at the lake or taking a long walk with friends.
Every weekday morning, for the past 25 years, I've taken a "walk and talk" with a friend, rain or shine, through every season.
It's one of my favorite traditions and something that's been incredibly good for the soul.
Definitely my cats, Ozzy and Joplin.
I've always said I wasn't a cat person... but those two completely changed my mind.
