Behind every successful team is a strong operational foundation, and Trish Frydenlund plays an important role in helping keep things running smoothly at Procise. With nearly 30 years of experience across the technology and insurance industries, Trish brings deep expertise in accounting, financial strategy, and operational improvement to the team. 

Tell us about your career and education journey. What brought you to Procise?

I’ve spent nearly 30 years working in accounting across the technology and insurance industries, and somewhere along the way, I realized how much I enjoy the combination of financial strategy and operational improvement. Throughout my career, I’ve had opportunities to implement new tools, streamline processes, and help teams use data in ways that truly make their work easier and more effective.

I’ve known Jim Burns for many years, and I always hoped I’d have the opportunity to work under his leadership. One of the things that makes Procise so special is how many team members share long-standing relationships and history together. Coming together again in this environment has created a strong, collaborative culture that’s exciting to be part of.

Our consultants help clients innovate, streamline operations, and get more value from their technology. In many ways, my role supports that same mission internally by making sure our team has the systems, processes, and operational support they need to do their best work every day. It’s been a perfect fit.

What tools or platforms do you use the most?

Technology has always been central to how I work. Some of the tools and platforms I rely on most include:

• Financial management and ERP systems for reporting, forecasting, and resource planning
• Data analytics and dashboard tools that turn raw numbers into meaningful insights
• HR and resource management systems that support staffing, capacity planning, and operational efficiency

What do you enjoy most about your work?

What I enjoy most is the impact the work can have across the organization. Finance touches every part of a business, and I love helping people better understand the numbers, make confident decisions, and feel supported throughout the process.

I also enjoy introducing new systems and redesigning processes that help our team work more efficiently. Finding ways to make day-to-day operations smoother and more effective is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

What are your passions or hobbies outside of work?

Outside the office, I love surrounding myself with the things that keep me grounded and energized. I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, getting lost in a good book, and spending quality time with my family.

We also have a two-year-old grandson who is truly the most fun and amazing little guy. Spending time with him is easily one of my greatest joys.

What’s your favorite animal?

I’ve always been a cat person. I love their unique personalities and independence. But I have to admit, I’m completely charmed by baby goats in pajamas. Watching them bounce around is impossible not to smile at.
